Job Description: We're seeking an experienced pharmacist to join our team at Liberty Regional Medical Center on an as needed basis (PRN). The ideal candidate is someone who works well in a team environment, detail-oriented, strong communication skills, and problem-solving skills. Essential Duties/Responsibilities: Fulfills all legal and regulatory requirements, including evaluation, selection, procurement and distribution of drugs, counseling and professional consultation Ensures compliance with all state and federal regulations as well as policies of the hospital and PharmD on Demand Interprets physician medication orders Compounds and dispenses prescribed medications and other pharmaceuticals and related products for patient care by performing related duties Utilizes pharmaceutical equipment to include automated dispensing machines, Laminar Flow Hoods and compounding equipment.
