As a Kennel Cleaner at Velociti Services you will be play a crucial role in maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for animals. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a genuine love for animals. Your tasks will contribute to the overall well-being of the animals and maintain a high standard of hygiene within the kennel facility.

Duties / Responsibilities:

• Perform daily cleaning of all dog kennels, including removing waste, soiled bedding, and debris.
• Sweep and mop kennel floors to maintain cleanliness and hygiene.
• Regularly disinfect and sanitize kennel surfaces, including floors, walls, and gates, using pet-safe cleaning agents.
• Pay special attention to areas frequently touched by dogs, such as food and water bowls.
• Clean and maintain all cleaning equipment regularly to ensure effective operation.
• Report any malfunctioning equipment to supervisory staff for prompt repairs or replacement.
• Keep accurate records of cleaning schedules, disinfection procedures, and any observations related to kennel conditions.
• Ensure that documentation is up-to-date and accessible to supervisory staff.
• Communicate effectively with other team members to coordinate cleaning schedules and share relevant information.
• Work collaboratively to maintain a cohesive and organized kennel environment.
• Performs other duties as requested or assigned

Physical Requirements:

Applicants for this role must be able to:

• Lift boxes and packages weighing up to 60 pounds
• Lift, bend, squat, and stretch to move boxes, parcels, and shipments
• Climb small to medium flights of stairs multiple times a day
• Standing for extended periods of time
